President Barack Obama used his Saturday radio address to slam Lebron James “obstruction” in the NBA, accusing the Lebron of standing in the way of fairness in professional sports and saying, “Leaving your home town team as a championship strategy is destructive to the NBA.”

Obama unleashed a torrent of criticism against the Lebron – accusing him of blocking other free agents during his decision time, and connecting his leaving Cleveland to Miami as disastrous as the BP oil spill is to Louisiana.

“All we ask for is a simple loyalty. That’s what the people of Ohio deserve. Just like they deserve an up or down vote on legislation that would hold NBA players accountable for the heart breaks they cause – a vote that is also being blocked by the Republican leadership in the Senate,” Obama said. “We need to regulate NBA free agents. But the Republican leadership won’t even allow a debate or a vote.”

House Republican Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio) offered a rebuttal to Obama’s remarks, saying, “The people of Ohio are looking to Washington Democrats – including the president – for leadership on tough issues like jobs and spending, not complaints about NBA free agency.”

In his address, Obama also called on Republicans to confirm 136 nominees for jobs in his administration that are held up in the Senate.

Democrats in Congress have called on Obama to be more forceful in his criticism of NBA millionaires, and the address meets that demand, with a point-by-point attack against Lebron James for allowing “a dreary and familiar story get in the way of our ability to move forward on a series of critical issues that have a direct impact on people’s lives,” Obama said

President Hugo Chavez on Sunday said that all of Venezuela will hold their breath on Thursday preventing approximately 5 Million Tons of carbon to enter the atmosphere.

Chavez Links Global Warming to Current Problems

In the wake of his announcement to personally save the world from global warming caused by the devil (referring to President George W. Bush), President Hugo Chavez on Sunday said that all of Venezuela will hold their breath on Thursday preventing approximately 5 million tons of carbon to enter the atmosphere.

We have many things to report,” he said, and kept listeners’ attention with a dramatic announcement. “I call on the whole country: ‘Hold Your Breath.’ As a result of U.S. caused global warming, We are facing the worst drought Venezuela has had in almost 100 years.”

Critics Believe Ploy to Claim Carbon Credits Worth Millions

Critics of Chavez point out that this may be just a gimmick so that Chavez can claim hundreds of millions of dollars in carbon credits related to the prevention of carbon emissions. Additionally, Critics claim that the lack of water in Venezuala is primarily due to the mismanagement of resources by the government.

National Guard to Enforce No Breathing on Thursday

Speaking on his weekly television program, “Alo Presidente,” Chavez railed against those who openly refuse to stop breathing. “I want the national guard in the streets, with the people, to prevent breathing,” Chavez said, calling exhaling carbon dioxide a form of robbery.

According to the EPA, each human exhales 2.3 lbs of carbon each day through breathing.

Chavez showed a photograph in a newspaper of breathers in long lines over the weekend to buy coffins, fearing that inability to breathe could cause death. The president blamed such lines on “teleterror,” saying that opposition media outlets were fueling a panic.

“For one day, there is absolutely no reason for anyone to exhale carbon dioxide,” Chavez said.

Chavez May Expropriate Businesses That Resist

He encouraged people to publicly denounce relatives who breathe freely and threatened to expropriate businesses and foreigners who demand to breathe.

The government would transfer ownership of such businesses to the workers, Chavez said.

NOAA Reports Record Snowfall for December 2009

The NOAA reported that December 2009 set a record for the greatest snow extent over North America in the 44-year history of snow cover maps produced by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. While climate change skeptics who are funded by oil companies point to the colder weather; in fact, climate change experts tells us that the colder weather is actually proof of global warming.

Scientists Explain Its Too Complicated for Most Americans

Stephen Dorling, of the University of East Anglia’s school of environmental sciences, said it was not surprising the cold period raised questions over climate change – but the snowy weather should not be used as evidence against it.

He said: ”It’s no surprise that people look out of their window at the snow and find it hard to rationalize what’s going on with the longer term trend.”

Difference Between Weather and Global Warming

Another climate change expert describes the phenomenon as “For the average lay person, basically, whenever it is cold outside, they should realize that this is just normal weather variations and whenever it is hot outside that is global warming caused by humans.” For example, 2009 was the 5th warmest year since 1880. 2009 thus is evidence of global warming while the greatest snow fall of the century is just a normal weather variation. Unfortunately, big business, particularly the U.S. Chamber of Commerce continues to poor millions of dollars into fighting the ‘Hot=Global Warming; Cold=Normal Weather‘ science universally acknowledge by any scientists not in the employ of Exxon Mobile.

Less than 10 People In World Trained to Separate Weather from Global Warming

Global Climate scientists have been working overtime and battling valiantly the climate change skeptics who often point to historically warm or cold periods during human history as proof that the current global warming issue is overblown. To battle these industry paid skeptics, global climate scientists have wisely withheld and deleted the raw data from all but a handful of global warming believers. These dedicated scientists have even ignored the Freedom of Information Act in their relentless pursuit of convincing the world of global warming.

Global Climate scientists carefully comb through their historical data to remove any periods of ‘weather’ which is defined as colder weather since 1950 and any warmer weather prior to 1900. By removing all ‘weather’ variations, the Global Climate Scientists were able to develop the famous Hockey Stick curve used as proof of man-made global warming. Without these ingenious ‘tricks’ from these scientists honored by the United Nations, the world may have continued to be confused in the difference in global warming vs. weather.

WASHINGTON – President Barack Obama renewed his pledge on Saturday of shortening winter by 6 weeks as his top priority in 2010 but said it was also critical to rein in a record budget deficit that threatened warmer weather throughout the country.

The ground hog seeing his shadow is a political hot potato in an election year, with Republicans seeking to paint Obama as a fan of colder weather giving his cap-and-trade proposals and the White House countering that he inherited an angry ground hog when he took office.

Sources close to the groundhog speculate that the ground hog, who had been very critical of the Bush Administration concerning Guantanamo Bay, was upset that Obama has failed to close the detention center as he promised repeatedly during his campaign.

Obama used his weekly radio and Internet address to remind Americans of the various proposals he put forward in the last week to spur spring and while taming a $1.4 trillion deficit.

But before the release on Monday of his proposed budget for fiscal 2011, which begins on October 1, he put a clear emphasis on addressing the difficult weather.

“As we work to warm up the country, it is critical that we rein in the budget deficits we’ve been accumulating for far too long — deficits that won’t just burden our children and grandchildren, but could damage our markets, drive up our interest rates, and jeopardize our < spring > right now,” he said.

Democrats face a tough time in holding on to their majorities in both the Senate and the House of Representatives in the mid-term congressional elections in November. Snow storms throughout the southern and mid Atlantic states could hurt them, analysts say.
